about

This is the first in a series of albums recorded in other people's homes. This one is a collection of ambient guitar pieces for deep listening.,

I'm a professional pet sitter. Once in awhile a family or a set of dogs pop up that are special. This family and all of their animals over the years (nearly 15, if that's possible, maybe more actually) have been wonderful.

This album is dedicated to them. Michelle and Jeff Quesenberry have not only trusted me with the care of an important part of their family for many years, and they have been helpful and open. Kind and all that stuff.

Accommodating:

"Hey, can I bring a bunch of gear over to your house while I house sit and make an album of really strange music... and your neighbors might think there's a real life Close Encounters going on....and...?"

"Sure! No problem."

Not even a concern for the animals. They know thew animals will be my #1 priority. If the dogs say no play... I don't play. I've been pet sitting for a long time. The animals always come first.

I want to dedicate this album to the Quesenberry family. Dogs and humans alike.

And it's also in memory of absent friends.
P-Nut. Magic. Bonkers. Cat Cat and anyone else I am forgetting.

Thank you for everything.

For everyone else:

I hope all you enjoy this album of ambient guitar excursions into odd territories. I open my mind and this is what falls out.
It's more like being a scribe than being an artist. I do not feel like this comes from me. I know that sounds odd, but listen to it and see if it sounds like normal, Earth-side guitar music to you.
It will,
also: Blah blah blah, blah blah blah, blah blah blah.
Enjoy

If you think you know someone who might like this, please share. Thanks.

Wm. Wolfgang Allen - Electric guitars. Mostly my Strat. Through a cheap overdrive pedal, into a digital delay then into the line 6 dl-4. Oh... an Ernie Ball volume pedal, but I always have my pinky wrapped around that volume knob :) I want a guitar with a buit in Eventide H9000, but an OD and an open loop of some sort is all I really need,

Engineered and Produced by Todd Rundg.... j.k. it was me.

about

Wm. Wolfgang Allen Washington, D.C.

A "musician", synesthesiac and professional pet sitter who had a brain injury and then strange piles of music and art started pouring out of his shattered and constantly morphing mind.
Is it worth listening to? It's all Wolfgang listens to these days, and he loves it. But he has a brain injury. So who knows? Broken Music is probably exactly what a Broken Brain requires.
